Drawings on clothes

During my earliest years as an illustrator artist, I learnt the craft very much by working, and I did it by drawing all kinds of motifs on T-shirts, ordered by different people. I would sit where there’s a lot of people, drawing and hoping for orders. It worked. Especially when I found my crowd – car enthusiasts. They knew exactly what they wanted on their t-shirts. During the years 1983-1993, I made more then 1.300 drawings on clothes – mostly T-shirts, but also an occasional jacket or sweater.
